~.UcClient.~ for Salesforce Lightning is an embedded client which can be added within the Salesforce Lightning interface. It provide users with access to telephony features, directly from within Salesforce.

~.UcClient.~ works with all versions of Salesforce (Essentials, Professional, Enterprise & Unlimited), but only in Lightning mode, not Classic.
Using the client, users can make telephone calls when idle, and can view the Salesforce details for any calls they are on.
If configured within Salesforce, ~.UcClient.~ can display Salesforce record fields directly on the call banner before the call is answered, as well as automatically screen popping matching records.
